1/2 Marathon Training - Day 6

A few years ago I blew my knee out and ever since my knee likes to pop out of place. I can run with virtually no pain as long as I wear a knee brace. I went to an Orthopedic Surgeon this week to see if me training and running in this 1/2 marathon would cause more damage to my knee and stop me from running in a full marathon later on down the road. He gave me the green light to keep training and we plan on taking care of it after I run my 1/2 marathon. Tomorrow is an LSD (Long Slow Day) 8 Mile day and I am glad to still be running!
