1/2 Marathon Training - Day 5

Today was 4 miles at a 10:30 pace /mile. We got 3 inches of snow last night so there is no running outdoors for me today. I ran the indoor track at the gym and was unable to stick to the 10:30 pace. I am thinking it's better to go faster then slower if you are going to deviate from your times? I have a hard time running slow indoors. I get bored and just want get my run in.
