1/2 Marathon Training - Day 18

I tested the water today running 3 miles at my target half marathon pace of 9:09. I was able to run the first mile at a 8:40 pace and run the 2nd mile slower at 9:14. I picked back up to 8:40 on mile 3 and averaged 9:02 for the full 3 miles. This is 8 seconds below my target pace however I have no idea at this point in my training how I am going to be able to maintain 9:10 for 13 miles to meet my goal. I have 7 more weeks training out of my original 10 so let’s hope it is enough.
